Calling all innovative high school students,

OpenHacks Collective is proud to announce our inaugural OpenHacks Collective Business Hackathon, taking place on September 27th and 28th, 2025, at the UC Berkeley campus. We are extremely excited to share that applications for this event are now officially open!

At the OpenHacks Collective Business Hackathon, students will receive a real-world business challenge with minimal information and have less than 24 hours to develop a bold, creative solution. Teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of industry professionals and entrepreneurs.

Participants will have the opportunity to win over $2,000 in prizes, receive one-on-one mentorship, secure an internship, and connect with a community of driven peers and professionals passionate about entrepreneurship and social impact.
